Identifying Your Resistance Pattern

Let’s decode how resistance shows up based on your dominant dosha:

VATA Resistance

  • Feels like: Anxiety, “What if” spirals, overwhelm, avoidance
  • Root: Too much movement in the mind, ungrounded energy
  • Breakthrough: Routine, breathwork, warm foods, anchoring affirmations

PITTA Resistance

  • Feels like: Perfection paralysis, harsh inner critic, anger when progress stalls
  • Root: Too much intensity, attachment to control
  • Breakthrough: Cooling practices, heart-centered rituals, compassionate self-talk

 KAPHA Resistance

  • Feels like: Heavy energy, procrastination, emotional shutdown
  • Root: Stagnation, emotional holding, fear of change
  • Breakthrough: Movement, stimulation, inspiring accountability

Ayurvedic Tools to Move From Fear to Fierce

Let’s walk through the ritual roadmap to break free and step into your boldness:

  1. Anchor Your Energy (Daily Rituals)
  • Vata: Morning oil massage, mantra meditation, warming breakfast
  • Pitta: Cooling herbal tea (fennel + rose), journaling with “I am enough” prompts
  • Kapha: Dance or walk for 15 min in sunlight, citrus essential oils
  1. Activate Your Inner Fire (Agni Ignition)
  • Clean up your diet → no sugar, dairy, or caffeine for 3 days
  • Add fresh ginger or turmeric to meals
  • Sip warm water with lemon and cayenne between meals
  1. Affirmation Activation

Here’s one I give all my clients:
“I choose courage over comfort. I release fear and rise in truth.”

Repeat while looking into your own eyes in the mirror—yes, even when your voice shakes.

  1. Breathe Through the Block

Try this:

  • 3 rounds of deep diaphragmatic belly breathing
  • Alternate nostril breathing (Nadi Shodhana)
  • Chant “So Hum” slowly with each breath
